This should be fine since the Plex container is the only thing accessing the NFS share. Both the Config and Media directories are mounted from my QNAP TS-870U-RP NAS via nfs.įor this mounting I have specified nolock, which provides locking support locally. My Plex Media Server is dockerized using the plexinc/pms-docker:latest image. On the desktop webapp I've selected "Convert automatically".

My Android tablet can't play back h265 so I assume Plex is transcoding to h264. The Plex server should remain accessible at all times. After 1-5 minutes the server becomes accessible again, first as "indirect" and then after an additional ~30 seconds as "nearby".

I see a similar error in the Android app at the same time. When I refresh the page I see an error about the Plex server being unreachable. Video playback stops (or fails to start). When watching on Android the issue happens sporadically, but usually about 9-14 minutes into an episode (each episode is roughly 25 minutes long, so about halfway).

When watching using the desktop webapp this issue seems to occur every time I click the "next episode" button to play the next episode of a show. Have you checked the Plex knowledge base and searched on the sub and Google: Yes
